    Important concepts every intermediate Djembe player should know, beautifully presented

    I think the concepts in this course are what every intermediate Djembe/Dundun player should understand and apply. The quality of the video and music samples is excellent, made with a great musical and aesthetic taste. Louis's instruction style is humorous and personal, I enjoyed it very much! On the cons side, I would expect more material and more invitation to practice or even homework assignments. I was able to go through in an hour. Maybe it's just me, but I need a little push from the teacher to make me practice :) Also, in some rhythm examples, especially for phrasing, the difference between straight play and phrasing were really hard to spot.

    Necessary inputs

    The Binary & Ternary & More Cours was very illustrative. Since the particular phrasing makes Djembe music so unique this cours is so fundamental. I got such a good insight into how to phrase apropriate and the assignements are very helpful to get to that stage. On the meantime to learn how to sing Djembe rhythms properly brought my rehearsing to a next level. Big up
